Introductory Session

This course is a wonderful introduction into the world of wild food. After an initial safety briefing we will spend two hours on the foreshore and intertidal zone finding and identifying a multitude of Gourmet delights. You will be taught how to find, identify and cook several wild foods including seaweeds, crabs and shellfish.

This course is as hands on as you want it to be, from standing and watching to donning a wetsuit and getting into the water. We provide all equipment apart from wetsuits and you will need sturdy shoes that you don’t mind getting wet.
