Your course starts with a meal on Friday evening around the fire at our beautiful smallholding on the banks of the river Taw. The following two days are filled with some of the best foraging and food that the British Isles has to offer. The activities include foraging the low tide pools for lobster at one of North Devon’s many beautiful beaches. Long lining the river for Bass. Searching the hedgerows for hidden delights. Hunting for edible mushrooms in ancient woodland. Combing the estuary for Samphire and clams. At the end of each day we will show you how to combine your bounty with our home grown organic ingredients to produce a stunning meal.

We provide all equipment apart from wetsuits and you will need sturdy shoes that you don’t mind getting wet. All food is included from Friday evening up until Sunday evening. We also provide a barrel of locally brewed ale.

We can also provide accommodation if needed ranging from a tent pitch to our 2-bedroomed bungalow.
